AN OPEN LETTER TO THE MEN OF NEW ZEALAND

MEN'S DAY OF PRAYER

Dear Men of New Zealand,
As you probably know Promise Keepers, Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, and Christian Men’s Network have been meeting together for a MONTHLY DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING for our nation.

We have been stirred up by the rising tide of humanism so prolific in our “I want” society. We have been grieved by the tragedies of broken families, broken hearts and broken bodies. We feel the urgent cry of God’s heart, and of his people’s heart, that NZ, Aotearoa desperately needs healing.

We were reminded again of the Scripture in 2 Chron 7 14. “If my people who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land”.

This is a verse often quoted when someone wants to start a prayer meeting – but this verse is not to be taken lightly or flippantly. This is one of God’s most powerful promises, and, as with all of His promises, it’s conditional.

The 3 national, non-denominational Men’s movements above, are not associated with any particular church. What we are, is…. “Christian”, we are called by His Name. The promise is this…… that, if we humble ourselves and pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways, HE WILL HEAR AND WILL HEAL OUR LAND.

Men, we’re Christian and we’re humbling ourselves, and seeking His face.

The 1st Monday in every month is the day when we encourage you to join us in pray and fasting. All over NZ, let's get together in small or large groups and let us humble ourselves and PRAY.

We have now held 3 meetings in Auckland, and other centres and groups are catching on. Each month it is growing and we are belieiving for tremendous breakthroughs in our own lives and the "life" of our country as we join together and earnestly, honestly, fervantly seek God's face.

Here’s some of the venues. (Meeting first Monday of each month)
